I have really fair skin and tend to burn easily. This lotion takes the sting out, keeps me from peeling, and actually helps turn the burn into some nice summer color (normally my oopsie burns just peel off and leave my skin pink and raw). I don't think they claim it, but I feel like this lotion facilitates faster healing. It's marvelous.Of course I always try to keep myself covered and out of the sun, but sometimes accident burns occur and this lotion helps alleviate the pain (and embarrassment).
