There is no other sunburn product on the shelves that compares to this. I am a red-head with freckles and skin that burns easily. I use this every time I've had too much sun and wake up the next morning and the burn is much better. This product also moisturizes (unlike aloe which makes me peel worse)and I usually do not peel after using this on a burn! I initially purchased this product as part of a tanning set when I went on a cruise and six years later I still RAVE about it! I have found, however, that it loses it's potency after about six months so it doesn't have a long shelf life. I was in extreme pain the first day of the cruise and put this on - to my absolute AMAZEMENT it felt like the soothing gel was actually pulling the heat and burn right out of my body. I went in to see if they had anything for relief after I had gotten a horrible burn with blisters. I am a redhead and burn very easily even with sunscreen on and I must say this stuff is amazing. It takes the burn away right away and within a few days the red is gone. I'm assuming if you are a person that can actually tan it would help the red turn to tan, but that's not really the case for me. I just burn it goes away and I burn again. I never get blisters or peel when I use this product. Also, this product smells really good. I recommend this to everyone I know...you WILL NOT be disappointed. I buy at least 2 bottles at a time so I always have some on hand. |
