Great Product--I have been using this sunscreen for years. I tend to freckle and this sunscreen really protects my skin and prevents the sun spots. I like the fact that this product has physical blockers, like zinc because I don't like to use the chemical blockers that much in a sunscreen. It is the best one I've ever tried. It is the only sunscreen I will wear daily (rain or shine) without hesitation, as it does not make my face shiny at all and absorbs into my skin without making me look like a ghost. In fact, it almost makes me look like I'm wearing a little bit of matte mineral makeup, but maybe that's just me as I rarely wear face make-up. As for the sun protection factor, I have no worn this product extensively while at the beach or anything like that, so I don't have a good idea of how well it protects or lasts. I have only warn it in sunny weather between 5 min to an hour or two. Anyway, even if the sun-protection isn't good (which it probably is because Obagi has good products), it wouldn't matter to me because it's a sunscreen I'll actually wear everyday, which is better than wearing none at all because you stand the look and feel of it on your skin.
